Austin Bryce Huffty, age 21, of Lake Providence, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, September 22, in Oak Grove, Louisiana. He was born July 15, 1994 in Lake Village, Arkansas to his parents, Micheal Dewayne Huffty and Stephanie Taylor Huffty. He was a Baptist and a construction worker.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Felton and Lorece Johnson.
Austin is survived by his father, Micheal Huffty of Kilbourne, LA, and mother, Stephanie Huffty of Lake Providence, LA; his sister, Chelsea Street and husband, Spence, of Forest, LA; grandparents, Dean and Elsie Taylor of Eudora, Jackie Huffty of Kilbourne, LA, and Mitchell Huffty of Crystal Springs, LA; great-grandparents, Floyd and Ann Pardon of Oak Grove, LA, and Betty McAlpine of Oake Grove, LA; his aunts, Shannon Helias of Dunn, LA, and Felicia Huffty of Kilbourne, LA; a special friend, Katie Walters of Oak Grove, LA; Austin’s loving dog, Diamond (Shayshay) and a host of cousins, other family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2pm on Thursday, September 24th at Eudora Baptist Church. Visitation will be 6pm to 8pm Wednesday, September 23th at Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora. Burial to follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Eudora under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Eudora.
