Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his father, William Bryant; son, Tony Bryant; daughter, Polly Edmundson; and great-grandson, Buddy Davis. Mr. Bryant is survived by his wife, Helen Pugh Bryant of the home; three daughters, Elaine and husband Graham Rogers of Fayetteville, Lynn and husband Pete Marque of Illinois, and Teresa Smith of Tampa, Fla.; three sons, Bill Bryant and wife Laura and Garry Bryant and wife Jane, all of Burlington, Iowa, and James Edmundson of Fayetteville; a son-in-law, Thomas Van Tassell of Fayetteville; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a brother, Darrell and wife Barb Bryant of Morning Sun, Iowa; a sister, Delores Noble of Morning Sun; and his mother, Euilee Bryant of Morning Sun.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011, in Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service and Crematory, with minister Victor Crumpler and the Rev. Kennis Crumpler officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Any friends who would like to visit the family at the home may visit. Services entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service and Crematory of Fayetteville.
