Wallace was a small business owner, who once owned Smith’s Auto Sales “The Best Little Car Lot in Dallas”.
He loved old cars and the outdoors, and he also enjoyed buying, selling, and trading.
Wallace is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mildred Veal Smith; sons, Stan Smith (Trissia), Steve Smith (Donna), Gary Smith (Donna), Jerry Smith; sisters, Mildred Fleeman (James), Sarah Hill (Joe); grandchildren, Brandi Maples (Matt), Brittany Jordan (Jamie), Stephanie Smith, Allen Smith (Sarah), Brian Smith (Jennifer), Darrell Bean; twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Hoyt and Clyde Smith; sisters, Lollie Bell Chambers, Louise Ledford.
Funeral: Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Barry Philbeck.
Burial: Westview Gardens, Bessemer City
