They were the parents of 10 children: Emma Delphine, Mary Amelia, Frank Haven, Clarence Orr, Newton Samuel, Jennett S., George Hamilton, Robert R., Ella L. and Eugene Ellis Parsons.

"Mrs. Sextus Parsons died Thursday. Funeral on Sunday at the home of her son, Eugene Parsons. Interment in Trucksville Cemetery."
