Frances M. 'Fran' Tollefson, 61, of Duluth, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, in St. Mary's Hospice, after a courageous battle with cancer. Fran was born in Duluth on June 30, 1945 to Axel and Rachel Enberg. On Nov. 2, 1963, Fran married David Tollefson, in Duluth. Fran was very generous with her time and talents and found joy in sharing that with others. She played the piano and organ at her church for many years. She was passionate about teaching Sunday School Classes, Bible Studies and Childbirth Classes. Fran worked as the Church Secretary for over 18 years and was a blessing to many and loved by all. Fran is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, David; children, Rose (Steve) Norman of San Jacinto, Calif., Kim (David) Henry of Andover, Minn., and Paul (Denise) Tollefson of Duluth; sister, Donna (Robert) Fox of Billings, Mont.; and grandchildren, Grant, Brittney, and Brooke Norman, Corinn, Erika and Braden Tollefson, and Miranda and Mallory Henry. SERVICES:3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006 in Duluth Gospel Tabernacle, 1515 W. Superior Street. Visitation will be in the Jarvi-Dowd Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior in the church. Burial will be at Sunrise Memorial Park.
