Mrs. Julia Johnson, 72, 2115 South 16th, died Wednesday [June 26, 1963] at Des Moines county home.
She was born in Des Moines county on May 10, 1891, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Schmidt, and was married to Charles Johnson in Des Moines county on February 10, 1915. He is dead.
She was a member of the Lutheran church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Anna Atherton of Burlington, two brothers, Morris Schmidt of Mediapolis and Clarence Schmidt of Yarmouth; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Niehaus of Mediapolis, one grandson and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Giles funeral home. The Reverend John Wagoner will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery
