A native of Swain County, Mrs. Riddle had resided in Buncombe County since 1959. She retired from CTS as an inspector, and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Riddle was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother that will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Riddle was the daughter of the late Eunice and Mamie Phillips Burchfield. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Harold and J.D. Burchfield.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Berlin Lee Riddle, children: Dywan Totherow and wife Vickie, Jerry Totherow, Anita McKinney, Yvonne Higgins and husband Steve, and Jeff Riddle; step-daughters: Elaine Lydiatte, and Nancy Chockley; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and brother, Lee Burchfield and wife Jenny of Chattanooga, TN.
