G. R. Harney Dies In Marysville, Dec. 23
George R.Harney, 53, a widely known designer and a major Yuba County property owner, died early today at his home here. Harney's wife, Eileen, who found him dead, said he had complained of feeling ill last night, but refused to call a doctor. Harney was the son of the late G. W. Harney, pioneer Yuba County resident. He also leaves a daughter Hope, a student at the University of California, and two brothers, Richard Harney of Richmond, and David Harney, a Los Angeles attorney.
