Mildred Alberty-Harmon

Longtime Sand Springs resident Mildred Alberty-Harmon passed away Monday, Nov. 27, 2006 at her home. Services will be held at Olivet Baptist Church in Tulsa with the Reverend Scott Palmer officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville, Oklahoma under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.

Mildred was born March 24, 1921, to William and Cora (Lawson) Banks of Kellyville. She had two sons, Eddie Hardgraves and Albert Hardgraves. She was retired from Warren Petroleum. She enjoyed a life of dancing, bowling and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Dub Harmon, of the home; one son, Eddie Hardgraves, of Grand Lake; sister Darla McGuire Gaddis of Ponca City; brother, Leon Banks of Bristow; one grandchild, Don Grace; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin "Kenny" Alberty; a son, Albert Hardgraves; parents William and Cora Banks; four sisters, Marie Heitt, Viola Brannon, Agnes Berryhill and Irene Matlock; and two brothers, Bill Banks and Vincent Banks.
