David Gleason Lettsome, 68, of Marseilles, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday August 13, passing away at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday Aug. 16, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles with Reverend David Meyer of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles. Visitation will be from 10 a. m. -12 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
David was born January 15, 1948, in Ottawa, to Ronald and Gloria (Gleason) Lettsome.
He graduated from Marseilles High School and attended Milwaukee School of Engineering. He was employed as an electrician for over 40 years until his retirement in 2012. He collected old radios and slide projectors and was an avid Bears fan. David and Sharon enjoyed traveling all over the United States and most of Canada.
David was the loving husband of Sharon of Marseilles; loving father of Adelaide Noel of Peoria, Victoria (Matthew) Morrison of Morris, and Olivia Lettsome of Mesa, AZ; loving grandfather of Fiona and Alec Morrison and Michael Desruisseaux; and loving brother of Gwynne (Garry) Johnson of Marseilles.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Garry, Garry Lee, and Bryan Johnson; and Brent, Derek, Matthew, and Nathan Schaefer.
