Death of Madison Busby, an old resident of Greenwood township died at his home Jan. 20 1893, age 71 years 7 months 16 days.
Madison Busby was a native of Kentucky. At the age of four he moved with his parents to Indiana and in 1847 came to Illinois locating in Shelby County. He married four times and was the father of a large family, twenty in all, and of that number, 13 are still living. He leaves his children, wife, his aged mother, two sisters and four brothers. Funeral services were held at Center Grove church on Saturday, Jan. 22nd and laid to rest there.
