Adam M. Pfannenstiel, 15, Munjor, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at Hays Medical Center.

He was born June 1, 2001, in Hays to Michael J. and Marilyn (Suppes) Pfannenstiel.

He was a student at Hays High School. He worked on the family farm in Munjor. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Boy Scouts Troop No. 101 and FFA. He enjoyed drawing and playing sports, especially football and baseball.

Survivors include his parents, Munjor; two sisters, Rosa Rome, Olathe, and Samantha Pfannenstiel, Munjor; his grandmother, Margie Pfannenstiel, Munjor; his uncles, Mike Suppes and wife, Bea, Hays, Joe Suppes and wife, Sunny, Vernonia, Ore., and Jeff Pfannenstiel and James Pfannenstiel, both of Munjor; and his nieces and nephews, Haley Robben, Adyn Ellis, Cooper Fox, Ava Rome & Harman Rome.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Severin and Rose Suppes and D.J. Pfannenstiel; an uncle, Dan Pfannenstiel.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Munjor; burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at Brock’s-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601, and from 5:30 to 8 p.m. with a combined rosary and vigil, all at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, Hays, and from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Boy Scouts Troop No. 101 or Masses in care of the funeral chapel.
