Elsie Mitchell, of Everett, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, Janurary 12, 2000 after a brief illness. She was born October 20, 1905 and lived in Everett all her life. She was married to Boyd for 64 years and now will see him again. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd; her parents; six brothers and sisters, and her grandson, Michael.
She loved her home and yard, and lived there for 72 years. During her career she worked at the Grand Leader and Miller's department stores, also Black & King stationary store. In her earlier year, she was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Everett.
She is survived by her daughter and husband, Beverly and Dick Petersen; grandson, Steve and wife Linda Petersen; two great-granddaughters, Karyn and Susan Petersen. WE will miss you, Mom.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 1616 Pacific, Everett, WA 98201. Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 18, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 Noon at Everett First Baptist Church.
