Indiana State Board of Health Certificate of Death No. 15522 for Indianapolis, Marion County records Austin Adam Blizzard, a 95 year, 8 months, and 19-days-old widowed white male, retired Merchant, died about 9:35 p.m. on 12 May 1946 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, due to "Hypostatic Pneumonia, Fracture Neck of Right Femur, Fell at Home, Accidental." He was the son of Silas W. Blizzard, born in Kentucky, and Rebecca Bottoms, born in Indiana. Merrill Blizzard was the informant. Burial was at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Johnson County on 16 May 1946, Flinn Funeral Home of Franklin, in charge.
