MARY ANN MALONE BARNETT
Mary Ann Malone Barnett, age 74, passed away, Tuesday, November 2l, 2006 at her home in Berlin. Born in Ellenwood, Kansas she was the daughter of the late Victor A. Malone and Pauline Kowalski Malone. She was preceded in death by her husband Sammie Earl Barnett in 2004. She is survived by her children, Michael Blume and his wife Sheri Fillinger-Blume of St. Charles Missouri, Gregory Blume and his wife Lea Ann of Delaware, Ohio, Darrin Blume of Severna Park, MD, Wes Barnett and his wife Sandra of San Antonio, TX, Randy Barnett and his wife Bobbie of Tecumseh, OK, Sammie Barnett of Kansas, Cindy McCollom of Pueblo, CO and Jayme Blume and her fiancé , Jeffery Clifton of Berlin, MD. There are 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are sisters Betty Long of Silver Spring, Bobbie Green of Phoenix, AZ, and Norma Kuhnel of Wichita, KS. She was preceded in death by her brother Arthur Malone and sister Patricia Rastrelli. Mrs. Barnett had been a homemaker, an antique dealer and an antique restoration expert.. She had a deep love of God, her family and her country. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 11a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Ocean Pines where friends may call one hour prior to the Mass. Rev. Edward Fahey will be the Celebrant. Entombment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, Md. on Tuesday at ll:30 a.m. . Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's honor to the Arthritis Foundation, Maryland Chapter, 9505 Reisterstown Rd., Suite #l North, Owings Mills, Md. 21117 or Worcester County Humane Society, Eagle Nest Road, Ocean City, MD 21842.
