She was the widow of Glenn R. Albert.
She was born March 17, 1926, in Wellsville, the daughter of the late George O. and Ethel Mae (Lerew) Detter.
Vivian was a retired claims examiner for the former Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Camp Hill. She was a graduate of the former Wellsville High School and was a member of the Harmony Church, Dillsburg. Vivian enjoyed crafts, baking, and going on bus trips.
Vivian is survived by two sons, both of Dillsburg; one brother, of Newville; one sister, of Tucson, AZ; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Cathy L. Orr and Connie S. Darhower.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mountain Road.
