Lewis Atchison, 56 years old, formerly of near Oriole, died Friday night in a hospital at Riverside, Calif. He was a retired farmer.
The body is to arrive here Wednesday at the Brinkopf-Howell Funeral Home and services will be conducted from there Friday afternoon at 2 by Rev. K. F. Boetcher of the Lutheran Church at Egypt Mills. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Atchison leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Atchison; a son, Stanley Atchison of Riverside, Calif.: a daughter, Mrs. Jean Freeman of Tennessee; a stepson, Wm. Scapple of Riverside and a sister, Mrs. Willis Tripp of Oriole.
Mr. Atchison was married to Amelia Stinhoff on April 12, 1917 and who died Dec 6, 1951. He moved to Riverside in 1952 and was married to Mrs. Mary E. Scapple.
