She was born in Oxford, Idaho, to Harold and Oneida Anderson.
She married Dean Helmandollar in 1950, in Twin Falls.
She was preceded in death by Dean, her son, Kenneth, her brothers, Gordon and Drew, her sisters, LaRee and Ruth, and her mother and father.
Julia is survived by her children, Wick, Grady, Jarvis and Erlene,; her sisters, Joyce and Elaine; and her brother, Wayne. She had eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Julie was a longtime member of Eastern Star. She worked for the railroad during World War II, moved with her family from Pocatello to Salmon in 1955, worked there as a veterinary assistant, and retired from the BLM in Salmon. Dean and Julie moved to Chubbuck in 1998.
She was a lifelong piano player as well as a beautiful singer, and loved music immensely. She loved growing trees and flowers, had an abiding love for the cats and dogs in her life, and enjoyed camping and fishing in the mountains around Salmon.
