Mrs. Fred Packel, 89, a resident of Henry Boyle Cathlic Hoome for the
Aged for three years, died at St. Agnes Hospital Wednesday afternoon.

Born Nov. 26, 1877, in Dodge County, she attended Edgewood Sacred Heart Academy in Madison and was a former resident of Columbus, Wis.

The former Julia Bolger was married Feb. 7, 1900, to Fred Packel at St. Columbkille Church at Elba in Dodge County. He died at Columbus in 1951.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, and two grandsons.

Mrs. Packel is survived by one son, Maynard Packel of Kenilworth; one daughter, Miss Genevieve Packel, of Waupun; four grandsons and three granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church in Columbus at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Friends may call at the Ziedler Funeral Home in Columbus Friday afternoon and evening.
