Found in The State 21 September 1939: Frank Pickens Hollingsworth, 74, of 1520 Assembly street, died at 7 o'clock last night at the Columbia hospital after an illness of two weeks. He was a native of Edgefield county and came to Columbia in 1911 from Atlanta. He was in the real estate business. Mr. Hollingsworth was a Mason, a member of Travis lodge at Saluda. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. J. W. Callison of Greenwood; one son, Kren (what is says in the obit, should read Kieve) W. Hollingsworth of Columbia, and two grandchildren, R. F. Hollingworth and J. G. Hollingsworth of Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted from the Talbert Funeral home at 4:30 this afternoon by the Rev. L. G. Payne, pastor of the Eau Claire Baptist church. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
