Only child of Isabella Wood and Mr. Timmie, but she had a half-brother (Homer Ross Greene, Jr.) and a half-sister Mrs. Alice (nee Greene) Brown, via the second marriage of her mother. A dear lady who could play excellent piano by ear. Aunt Vi's favorite tunes to play on the piano were "It Had To Be You" and "Maryland, My Maryland" which she claimed she had learned from her aunts who heard it when Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia invaded Maryland.
