Joe Don Crowels was born September 30, 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Amos Crowels and Millie (Hobia) Scott. He passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at his home in Wetumka at the age of 52. Joe Don was a resident of Wetumka, Oklahoma and a 1981 graduate of Wetumka High School. He enjoyed walking and playing the guitar and was always laughing and smiling. Joe Don was also a member of the Salt Creek Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Jon Mical Riley. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 12, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Salt Creek Baptist Church in Wetumka, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Salt Creek Church Cemetery in Wetumka. A wake service will be held Thursday, August 11th at 7:00 PM at the Salt Creek Church.
