Settie was the daughter of Ada (Rose) & Ira H. Greenfield.

Settie married Reason Daverage Gray on Dec. 29, 1913 in Clarksville, TN. According to the Kentucky New Era article on Davage death, they had 9 children, I can only find 8: Hester W. born in 1915, Frankie L. 1919, Willie Sue 1920, RD 1923, Damon W. 1925, Mary K. 1928, Reison 1931 & Diane 1936.

Settie remarried sometime after Davage death in 1936 to 1940 as she was married to an Arnett Tatum in the 1940 census., but he is not mentioned in her obit in the newspaper that is in the photos.
