Jennie Elizabeth Hood died at her home in Dundee, Iowa, Saturday, November 25th, 1916. Death was due to paralysis. Her last illness was of about a week's duration, although she has been in ill health for several years.
Jennie Elizabeth Williamson was born May 26th, 1867, nine miles south of Masonville. She was the daughter of William and Jane Williamson, with whom she resided until she was united in marriage to J.E. Hood on May 7th, 1887.
She is survived by her husband and two children; Mrs. Winnie E. Zemanek-Williams and Lewis L. Hood, both of Minatare, Nebraska.
Four children preceded their mother in death; William, Mabel, Edna and Edward R.
The funeral service was held on Monday afternoon at one o'clock, at the W.M. church at Dundee, Rev. R.W. Maack officiating.
Interment was made in Union cemetery at Thorpe, Iowa.
The deceased was a member of the Baptist Church and a true Christian woman, whose death is deeply felt by her friends and the members of her sorrowing family.
