Martha passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Vista Springs Assisted Living in Wyoming, Michigan. Age 77 years. She was born October 15, 1938 in Jackson, TN. Martha married James Albers on January 19, 1957. He preceded her on September 27, 2005. Martha was a member of Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church and also a registered nurse.

Surviving are three daughters, two sons and spouses, Jeanne (Jim) Lowe, David (Becky) Albers, Shari (Mark) Powell, Jimmy (Mary) Albers, Marianne (Al) Toma; grandchildren, Brandon (Jennifer) Lowe, Jared (Brooke) Lowe, Chad (Niki) Lowe, Sarah (Kirk) O’Gorman, Josh (Angie) Albers, Jake (Jen) Albers, Keenan (Sarah) Albers, Brittani (Jason) Stratton, Breanna Powell, Ali Powell, Cody Albers, Lauren Albers, Anthony Albers, Alyssa (Mark) Davison, Erica Toma and Rachel Toma; great grandchildren Reese, Brady, Avery, Carson Lowe, Shea and Revi O’Gorman, Connor and Violet Stratton, Zayden Albers; brother, Gilbert (Marlene) Nanney step-sister, Lynn Overby, sister-in-law, Bill and Marilou Armstrong; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents and brother, William Nanney.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 708 Sanderson St., St. Charles. Fr. John Cotter will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the Kendall Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
