Harold James Buehler was born March 31, 1951 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Julius and Dora Buehler and passed away August 2, 2016 in Cordell, Oklahoma, at the age of 65.

As a baby Harold was baptized in the Lutheran Church on May 27, 1951. He attended Cordell schools and graduated from there. Harold was confirmed in the Lutheran Church on May 16, 1965. After graduation he worked that summer then attended SWSU and graduated in 1974 with a degree in Accounting.

Harold worked for Franklin Texaco and Don Howard Chevrolet and Buck Chevrolet in 1979. He roughnecked until 1986 in the oilfield and then was a certified welder. He joined the US Army Reserve and spent 28 years serving his country. Harold retired in 2006 at the Rank of 1st Sergeant.

Harold farmed with his brother until his passing. He could be very hard nosed, but he had a big heart. Harold would do anything for a friend or a person in need. He had many friends that will miss him.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Donald Buehler of Cordell, Oklahoma and numerous family and friends.

The service will be officiated by Kevin Creed. Interment will follow at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Bessie. Services under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma.
