Daughter of William Enoch Moseley and Rutha Brooks. She married Wiley C. Curry on 27 November 1849 in Butts County, Georgia. She and Wiley had two children, William McMichael Curry and Mary Curry Maddox. After Wiley's death in 1858, she married Irby D. Simmons, a widower, on 28 October 1862 in Spalding County, Georgia. Irby died in 1890, and Elizabeth moved to Calhoun County, Alabama, and lived there with her son until her death.
