Mr. Arthur Preston Donaldson was born March 16, 1934 to Albert Harrison Donaldson and Nettie (Brewer) Donaldson in Lewis County, Tennessee. He passed away January 15, 2011 at his residence in Dover. He was 76 years of age.
Survivors include: four sons, Jimmy Wayne Donaldson (Misty), Kevin Lee Donaldson (Celesta), Larry William Donaldson, Arthur Preston Donaldson, Jr. (Darlene); three daughters, Linda Joy Dotson (Randle), Anita Kay Quillen (Randall), and Susan Diane McCollum (Robert}; two sisters, Ruby Kimbro and Flora Lee Whitehead; seven grandchildren, Randy, Joanna, Matthew,Crystal Justin, Danielle, Amelia; seven great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison, Joshua, Mellissa, Laura Beth, Luke, and Erin.Second wife, Joyce Donaldson;step-son, Paul Litteral, II (Diana),
Besides his parents, Mr. Donaldson is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children Betty Jean Rodgers Donaldson, sister Christine Staggs, and brothers Arie, Melvin, Thomas Harvell, Lester, and Elvin Donaldson.
Mr. Donaldson proudly served his country in the United States Army from which he retired. He was buried on January 18th at the Adcock Cemetery in Dickson with full military honors.
