Diana Kaye Farmer, 65, of Symsonia died at 2:58 PM Thursday August 4, 2016 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Mrs. Farmer was formerly employed at Seaboard Poultry Plant of Mayfield as a laborer. She was a member of New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Benton and was a former Sunday School Teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Melvin Farmer of Symsonia; one brother, James Clarence Ogdon Jr. of Watertown, TN; one sister, Nancy Means of Lebanon, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juanita (Nichols) and James Clarence Ogdon Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Kenneth Brown and Rev. Ritchie Slack officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Graves County, KY.

Visitation will be from 5 PM till 8 PM Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations made to Lourdes Hospice, P.O. Box 7100, Paducah, KY 42002-7100.
