Larry Gerald Deyoung, 65, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016. He was born April 14, 1951 in Jacksonville, FL and had lived here all of his life.
Larry was of the Baptist faith, was an avid collector of guns, was an average, down to earth, stay at home guy and will be dearly missed by all.
He was predeceased by his mother, Anna Geoghagan Bodden; brother, Ray Bodden; sister, Debbie Hodges. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Sherry; sons, Larry Bubba Nesset (Angela); James Dekin (Kelly), daughters, Stacey Compton (Joel), Casey Braley (Steven), Carrie Ann Owens (Vinson), Leeanna Grimes (Robbie); father, Henry Bodden; brother, Chuck Deyoung (Sheena); sister, Melissa Bodden; brother in law, Junior Hodges; grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Heather, Mary, Stevie, Alan, Trinity, Tabitha, Taylor, Anthony, McKenzie, Trevor, Ashleigh, Coleen, Alex, Lauren, Ashleigh, Tyler, Kaden; great grandchildren, Kinley, Benjamin; numerous other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 8, at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd 32218 with Pastor Al Force officiating. Interment will follow in New Berlin Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-6pm at the funeral home.
