Mildred Jenkins age 69 of Brush Creek died Thursday evening, Aug. 4, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Born Oct. 4, 1947 in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Desmond and Lillian Goolsby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Jenkins; a sister, Inez Williams and a brother, Louis Goolsby. Mildred is survived by her children, Diane Turpen and husband, James of Alexandria, Matthew Jenkins of Mcinnville, Melanie Hobson and husband, John of Watertown; 6 grandsons, Cody and Tyler Jenkins, Jerry and Taylor Hobson, Dylan McCoy, Avery Hobson; 2 great grandsons, David and Nathaniel Jenkins. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 at Wilson Co. Memorial Park with Bro. Richard Buckner officiating.
