FARWELL - Joyce Coffman, 86, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. CST today in Hamelin Memorial Methodist Church. Burial will be in Oklahoma Lane Cemetery by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis, N.M.

Mrs. Coffman was born July 16, 1920, in Lelia Lake to Fred and Dollie Barker. She was a lifelong resident of Farwell.She married E.R. "Weedie" Coffman on Aug. 20, 1938. She was a housewife and retired caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Frank Coffman; a grandson, Justin Lee Coffman; three sisters; two brothers; and her parents.

Survivors include her children, Sharon Gallon of Stillwater, Okla., Melody Drake and husband Owen of Friona, Hobbie Coffman of Farwell, Alice Ewald and husband Brian of Sun Lakes, Ariz., Gaye Klump and husband Robert of Cedaredge, Colo. and April King of Amarillo; a sister, Bobbi Wider and husband Robert of Portales, N.M.; three sisters-in-law, Ann Barker and Anna Joe Blackburn, both of Friona, and Minnie Mae Glasscock of Albuquerque, N.M.; 18 precious grandchildren; 15 wonderful great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Rob Wilson, Bart Coffman, Darren Coffman, Bret Coffman, Wes Drake, Shane Roberts and Clinton Coffman.

The family suggests memorials be to Prairie Acres, Friona, Texas, or Boys Ranch, Amarillo, Texas.

The family will be at 602 Fourth St. in Farwell.
