Ernest Burton Cochran, 98 of Hustonville passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Born May 13, 1918. He was the son of the late Ernest Beeler and Mayme Martin Cochran. He was a retired farmer, a member of Hustonville Christian Church and a US Navy Veteran.Burton was preceded in death by his wife, Lidabel Jones Cochran and by two brothers, Tom and Bud Cochran. He is survived by two daughters, Vicki (Dirk) Cotton of Chapel Hill, NC and Linda Rhinehart of Hustonville; one sister, Lita Grey Ashey of SC and six grandchildren: Chelsea, Spencer and Jackie Rhinehart; Cary and Eric Cotton and Alexis Mears.A service will be at 2 pm, Monday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by Rev. Robert Shaw. Burial is in Hustonville Cemetery with Military Honors by American Legion Post 18 and US Navy Honor Guard. Visitation is 12-2 pm, Monday.
