He was survived by is wife Elnora, 4 sons: Leonard, Harold, Erich all at Battle Creek; Raymond at Wallport, Oregon; 2 daughters: Mrs. Vera Struebing at David City, Mrs. Earlene Nicolay at Tucson, Arizona; 3 sisters: Mrs. Louise Kuester at Stanton, Mrs. Eleanor Ott at Beemer, Mrs. Minnis Holtz at Beemer; 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers. He and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1959.
