William Brandon Swanson, 42, of Lawrenceville IL, formerly of Mount Carmel passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016. He was born on July 22, 1974 in Spokane Washington, the son of William “Bill” and Carolyn (Bray) Swanson. He married Sandie Tewell on June 28, 2008 in Lawrenceville, IL and she survives.
Brandon was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all he loved to play golf. He dearly loved his children and enjoyed watching them participate in their sporting activities. Brandon worked in the maintenance department of Toyota. He was of the Christian Faith and was baptized at the Mount Carmel Church of Christ.
Brandon will be remembered by his wife, Sandie; children, Kain and McKegan Swanson of Lawrenceville; father, Bill and his wife Martha Swanson of Evansville, IN; maternal grandmother, Melba Bray; nieces and nephews, Savannah Ammon, Austin Ammon, Brooklyn Woods, Carter Hutton, Brittney Walls, Tyler Tewell, Amber Tewell, Mikel Harper, Matthew Harper, Madison Harper and Clayton Roney; brothers and sisters - in-law, Mark and Sheila Tewell, Stacey Harper, Ashley and Chad Roney; mother and father -in-law, Scott and Nancy Tewell; step brothers, George Hadley, Shane Curry, Damon Curry; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brandon was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn; sister, Alicia Ammon; maternal grandfather, Ezra Bray; paternal grandparents, Oris and Georgia Swanson.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at the Church with Pastor Bobby Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
