Frank Junior Brannan age 88 passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, at Northside Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Pickard and Rev. Kenny Huff officiating. Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 8, at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Brannan was a resident of Milledgeville. He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor with the Engineering Department at Central State Hospital. Mr. Brannan was also a Baptist Minister serving at Riverside Baptist Church, Grace Baptist Church, Faith Baptist Church in Tennille and Scottsboro Baptist Church until his retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Robert Frank Brannan and Eva Parks Califf Brannan, brothers, Robert Lewis Brannan, William Earl Brannan sisters, Helen Rogers, Myra Allen, Thelma Tompkins and Evelyn Beck. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Bertha Powell Brannan of Milledgeville, a son Frank A. “Tony” Brannan(Shelia) of Milledgeville a daughter Angela “Angie” Garza of Mandeville, LA, a sister Martha Huff of Milledgeville, grandchildren Anthony Brannan (Alex) of Pickens, SC, Casey Patterson of Mandeville, LA, Dani Brown of Jackson, MS, Nikki Brown of Biloxi, MS, Kayla Brannan of Greenwood, SC, great grandchildren, Savannah, Alyssa, Dakota, Colton, Ryder, Braxton and Gabe and many nieces and nephews.
