Geiger died suddenly at his home near the Gorham highway overhead Wednesday afternoon. Death was attributed to heat prostration.
He was born in St. Jacob's Ill., in 1895, and had lived in Gorham about four years. He was a timber worker.
He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Andy Kontros, Granite City, two brothers, Fred and Marion Geiger, both of Gorham, and sister, Mrs. Della Mauer, Greenville.
Friends may call at the Crawshaw funeral home in Murphysboro until the hour of services.
