Robert Darrell Bills, 88, died peacefully at home in February 18, 2010.


Born May 2, 1921 in Payson, Utah to Robert Leland and Clara Loveless Bills. Married Edith Jasperson on January 3, 1948; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.


Survived by wife, Edith; four children: Shauna (Dale) Keddington, Brian, Brenda (Steve) Miner, and Randy; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margaret Tanner and Glenna Jensen. Preceded in death by daughter, Pamela; brothers, Howard and Ray.


Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He enjoyed fixing things and working with his hands. He built a cabin where he loved to fish and spend time with his family. Active member of the LDS Church. He was kind and gentle with a loving heart. He brought such joy to our world. We will miss the way he made us laugh!


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 22, 2010 at the Bountiful 15th Ward Chapel, 1250 South Main. Family and friends may visit on Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Monday morning from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
