Carbo, Eddie Joseph, 91, a lifelong resident of Plaquemine, died on August 1, 2016.

He was a retired saleman from Gerace Auto Parts in Plaquemine.

Visitation will be on Friday, August, 5, 2016 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary from 10: 00 am until noon. There will be a 12:30 pm graveside service at Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Snider and husband Doug, son, Michael Carbo, one sister, Edna Barrient, two brothers, Freddie Carbo Jr. and Wilbert Carbo, five grandchildren, Heather Thompson, Jennifer Thomas, Eric Carbo, Ashley Carbo Beaver and Doug Snider Jr. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Ester Cassard.

Pallbearers will be John Thompson, Todd Thomas, Blake Rodriguez, Eric Carbo, Philip Green and James Smith.

Eddie fought in the US Army during WWII, 25th Division, 161st Infantry. He was a bronze star recipient.
