Sylvia "Peachie" Pearsol, 68, of West Elizabeth, passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, at home. A former councilwoman of West Elizabeth, she was a homemaker, a former employee at Jefferson Hospital, a member of Olivet United Presbyterian Church, in West Elizabeth, and a member of the Floreffe Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary. Born June 14, 1948, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Jane (Bickerton) Williams. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harry Pearsol; daughters, Renae (Steve) Hallam, of West Elizabeth, and Crystal (Henry) Pearsol, of West Elizabeth; grandchildren, Sierra, Quenton and Emma; the following sisters and brothers: Margaret Campbell, of Rostraver, Larry Williams, of West Elizabeth, Betty Jane Coltogirone, of North Huntingdon, Mary Ellen Sulesky, of North Huntingdon, Harry Joseph Williams, of West Elizabeth, and Gary Williams, of West Elizabeth; also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Edwin Williams, Robert Williams, Emerson Williams, Donna Lloyd, Charles Williams, Ross Williams and Bonnie Rae Zuzo.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016, in the PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 N. Second Ave., Elizabeth. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Walter Pietschmann officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
