Born in Windber, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Uriah and Elizabeth (Shaffer) Penrod. She was the widow of Francis S. Miller who died in 1972.
Surviving are two daughters: Irene Constable and Vera Williams, both of Biglerville; three step-sons: Paul E. Miller of Biglerville; Jack R. Miller of Gettysburg; Galen D. Miller of Waynesboro; one step-daughter: Joanne Showers of Aspers; four grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
She was a member of Benders Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
