She was born December 12, 1963 in Orangeburg, SC; the daughter of Sally Jo Malpass Amaker and the late Bennie Palmer Davis, Jr. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors include 1 daughter; Shannon (James) Metts of Wichita, Kansas; 1 son; Kevin Hale Garrick of Orangeburg; her Mother; Sally Jo Malpass Amaker of St. Matthews; 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a number of nieces and nephews.
