Both Bertha and her brother, George, were buried at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, originally located at Biddle Street and Edison Highway. The cemetery no longer exists and the graves were relocated to Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in 1961. The relocated graves at Holy Redeemer were initially marked with small marble markers, but they've sunken and are no longer visible.
