Marjorie J. Derhammer, 60, of Pikes Creek, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 29, 2016, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

Mrs. Derhammer was born in Kingston on May 30, 1956, and was the daughter of the late Olin Eugene and Beatrice Darrow Gordon.

Marjorie graduated from the former Lehman High School in 1974 and attended Sweet Valley Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, John Levi; brother, William Gordon; and sister, Shirley Derhammer.

Marjorie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Robert Derhammer; daughter, Angela Henninger, Pikes Creek; sons, John Derhammer and his wife, Jennifer, Loyalville; Mike Derhammer and his wife, Robin, Pikes Creek; and Adam Derhammer and his wife, Sheri, Pikes Creek; brothers, Gerald Gordon, Forkston; and Robert Gordon, Pikes Creek; sisters, Donna Blansett, Dallas; Millie Derhammer, Pikes Creek; Janet Walsh, Pikes Creek; Bette Jayne, Meshoppen; and Carol Miskiel, Georgia; 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with the Rev. Gary DeSanto, pastor of the Stillwater Christian Church, officiating.

Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service Wednesday.

Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek.
