Dorothy M. Smith entered Heaven on July 28, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Smith and leaves behind one sister, Frances Murphy Dial, sister-in-law Billie Murphy and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dorothy worked as a secretary for Finger Furniture for ten years and Teacher's Credit Union for thirty years. Dorothy was a member of South Main Baptist Church in Pasadena after spending many years in Champion Forest. She loved her Mavericks Sunday School class and the family wishes to thank Robert Onsken, Norma Fields, and Lena Love for providing assistance to Dorothy so that she could be a part of the class on Sunday mornings.
