Terri A. Mattocks, 68, of Oelwein, Iowa died Saturday afternoon, July 30, 2016 at Unity Point-St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein with Deacon Jim Patera officiating. Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and for one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein. A Memorial Fund has been established in her name.

Terri Ann Boleyn was born January 23, 1948 at Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Tom Leonard and Mary Alyce (Ritter) Boleyn. She graduated from Oelwein Community High School in the Class of 1966. Terri was united in marriage to William David Mattocks at the Elgin Lutheran Church in Elgin, Iowa on August 13, 1966. They later renewed their vows at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hazleton. Three children were born to this union, Melissa, Mary and Matthew. Terri and Bill later divorced. Terri was a homemaker and longtime Oelwein resident.

Terri was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing internet games, boating, water skiing, camping, fishing, snowmobiling, socializing with friends and especially raising her three children and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and her family, especially her sister, Lennora “Cisco.”

Terri is survived by her 3 children: Melissa (Shawn) Stewart of Springville, Mary (Chris) Grant of Alburnett and Matthew (Katie) Mattocks of Ankeny; 6 Grandchildren: Evan Stewart, Abigail Grant, Kelly Grant, Mason Grant, Rylee Grant and Kathryn Mattocks; 6 Sisters: Lennora “Cisco” (John) Steinbronn of Oelwein, Pamela Nicola of Killeen, Texas, Jann Britton of Omaha, Nebraska, Margie Janssen of Cedar Rapids, Sandra Veatch of Scottsdale, Arizona and Carole (Gayle) Binns of Knoxville; Special Friend: Chris Rohrick of Oelwein and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Jerry and 4 nephews: Charles “Bebo” Langel, Brian Teel, Patrick Goracke and Marty Goracke.
