The son of the late Nettie (Riepe) and John Stanley Eifert was born January 13, 1948 in Waverly, Iowa. He was a graduate of Waverly High School, Class of 1967. He served with the U.S. Air Force as a Medic, retiring with twenty years of service. After retirement he drove over the road Trucks. He resided in Oscoda, MI. for several years. Surviving are a son, a daughter and their spouses, Jeffrey and Jackie Eifert, Essexville, MI.; Joy and Denis Socha, Bay City, MI.; three grandchildren, Melissa Eifert, Hannah Socha, Grace Eifert; a sister, Ruth Kobliska; his former wife, Cecille Chapman.
