MARJORIE M. PLAMBECK
Marjorie M. Plambeck, 70, of Elgin, died Wednesday in Sherman Hospital. Born Dec. 18, 1912, in Yale, lowa, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Schlichter. She was a resident of Palatine for many years before moving to Elgin in 1982. Until retiring she was a teacher at Dempster Junior High School, Elk Grove Village, for many years. She was a member of Elgin Woman's Club, American Cat Fanciers Club and Retired Teachers Association of Elgin. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy; a son, John, both of Elgin; and two brothers, Donald and Howard of Oregon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, in 1977. Funeral services were held today in the Laird Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemtery. Memorials may be made to the Sherman Hospital Oncology.
