Bobbie Gene Bostwick, 87 of Zionsville, Indiana, died at 5:26 A. M. Saturday July 30, 2016 at Zionsville Meadows.

He was born June 20, 1929 at Indianola, Illinois, the son of Simon W. and Mildred Irene (Hires) Bostwick.

Bob married Esther Marie Amos June 30, 1950 at Mishawaka, Indiana and she survives. Also surviving are four children, Betty Lou Cordes, Michael (Pam) Bostwick, Penny Lowe and David (Missy) Bostwick; two sisters, Shirley Parker and Phyllis Voss; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great- grandchildren and a great-great grandson.

His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.

Bob was a graduate of Danville High School. He was a Navy veteran and employed at Hyster in Danville 20 years before retiring. He resided in State Line for many years, moving to Lebanon, Indiana in 1990 and to Zionsville in 2013. He attended the Zionsville Fellowship Church and was a 50 year member of Fountain Lodge # 60 F. & A. M.
