WINCHESTER, VA - SHEILA KAY POFFENBERGER KELLER, 63, of 117-12 Brookland Terrace in Winchester, Va., died Monday, July 13, 2009 at Blue Ridge Residential Hospice Center, Winchester.
Born May 25, 1946 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Leroy and Catherine Madeline Obitts Poffenberger.
She was employed by FEMA.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Keller Sr.; daughter, Terri Carter of Croydon, Pa.; son David Appleby Jr., Columbia, SC; stepson, Michael Keller Jr., Martinsburg, W Va.; one granddaughter and three grandsons; brother, Ronald Poffenberger and wife, Joyce, Martinsburg, W Va.; brother, Larry Poffenberger and wife, Barbara, Clinton, NC; brother, William Poffenberger and wife, Patricia, Falling Waters, W Va.; brother, Ralph Poffenberger and wife, Carolyn, Hagerstown; sister, Wanda Hunt, Martinsburg; sister, Patsy Smith and husband, Richard, Falling Waters, W Va.; sister, Wilma Taylor, Williamsport, Md; and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Poffenberger; and a sister, Lois Garrish.
Services on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 11 am at Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport, with the Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.
